Points to note
1. From 2025 to 2028, VTC Halls of Residence (Tsing Yi) will undergo air-conditioning system replacement works. During construction, residents may experience daytime noise, dust, the presence of workers conducting replacement works, and obstructed window views due to scaffolding. When required, residents must cooperate by granting workers access to their rooms or temporarily relocating to other rooms
2. Please ensure all required information is provided on the application form. Inadequate information may result in processing delays or your application not being considered.
3. Each applicant must submit this year's accommodation application with a valid student ID number and student status for the Academic Year 2026/27; otherwise, it will not be considered.
4. Each student should submit only one application via the online platform.
5. Due to limited availability at the VTC Halls of Residence, dormitory spaces will be allocated through a lottery draw system based on demand.
6. The residential period is from 1 September 2026 to 31 July 2027 (for a total of 11 months).
7. The accommodation fee must be paid in full by the stated payment schedule and is non-refundable. No refund of accommodation fee will be issued for late check-in or early withdrawal.
8. Residential period for WMG and SHAPE students will align with the study period of their respective programmes. Please approach WMG Office and SHAPE Office for detailed arrangements.
9. If an applicant is progressing to a new programme for AY2026/27 (for example, from a VTC programme of DVE/DFS/HD to HD/Degree Programmes), he/she can only apply for accommodation using the latest assigned student ID number.
10. During the residential period, if a resident has completed their programme (graduated) or withdrawn, suspended, terminated his/her studies for any reason, had changes in his/her student status, or is no longer a student of VTC, their accommodation will be terminated, and he/she will be required to check out. The resident is responsible for notifying the Hall Management Office to arrange for check-out and any accommodation fees already paid will not be refunded.
11. The Hall Management Office reserves the right to make the final decision regarding room allocations.
